After twelve years, Tangled Dreams is out!

I’m super excited for Tangled Dreams to be released today. It started out as my NaNoWriMo project in 2006. I “won” NaNo that year, which means I did write 50K words, and then I edited the story, submitted it, and got rejected. Over and over and over again. My Samhain editor didn’t want it, either, which worked out since that meant I turned my attention to writing the Aether Psychics books.

Finally, after a decade of off-and-on revision, beta reads, and critique group submissions, I sent it to my editor, who’s now working for me as a freelancer, and I am pleased to say Tangled Dreams is such a better book for all that time incubating. After growing this book for twelve years, I feel like either a literary fiction author or an elephant. 😉 Don’t worry, the next book in the series didn’t take nearly as long. It will be out in August.
